OFFGRID locates you using WiFi networks and cell towers with aided GPS. Works even when GPS is unavailable.

Tap 📡 LOCATE ME on the Position tab. When located, a green marker appears and the status badge updates.

If WiFi/cell positioning is unreliable, use the MANUAL PIN tab to set your location manually.

⊕ CENTRE — Re-centres map on your position. Double-tap to zoom to street level.

🔍 SEARCH — Find a destination by name or address.

🎯 SET DEST — First tap: activates crosshair. Pan to destination. Second tap (CONFIRM): sets destination and draws route.

⏹ STOP NAV — Stops turn-by-turn navigation (visible only while navigating).

📡 LOCATE ME — Finds your position via WiFi/cell. Allow Location access when prompted.

💾 SAVE POS — Saves current position with a name (up to 20, stored on this device).

📤 SHARE MY POSITION AS LINK — Generates a link with your coordinates. Anyone who opens it gets your location as their navigation destination.

Use when LOCATE ME is unavailable or inaccurate. The red crosshair activates automatically — pan the map to your exact location.

Use the search box to jump to a street or landmark quickly.

Tap 📍 SET AS CURRENT LOCATION to confirm. Navigation and dead reckoning start from this point.

To return to live tracking, go to the Position tab and tap 📡 LOCATE ME.

GO — Sets the saved position as your navigation destination.

I'M HERE — Sets the saved position as your current location.

SHARE — Sends the position as a link.

× — Deletes the saved position.

Tap 🔍 SEARCH to find a destination — results are biased to your region. Tap a result to plot the route immediately.

Or use 🎯 SET DEST to drop a crosshair anywhere on the map.

Toggle WALK / DRIVE to switch route profile. Tap ▶ START for turn-by-turn voice guidance.

ETA is estimated from road speeds — no live traffic data.

Tap ⏹ STOP NAV on the map or ✕ in the turn panel to stop navigation.

During navigation a banner appears at the top of the map showing the next maneuver, distance to turn, road name, and your current speed.

Voice announces turns in metres — early warning then a final reminder just before the turn.

Within 200 metres of your destination the panel switches to 🏁 Arriving with a countdown.

Tap 🔊 to mute voice, ⟳ to recalculate the route, ✕ to stop navigation.

The map follows your heading (north is not always at the top). More road is shown ahead of your position.

Zoom speed adapts automatically — wider view at highway speed, street-level detail when slow.

Zooming out pauses rotation and locks the map north-up so you can see your full route. Tap ⊕ CENTRE to resume heading-up and return to your position.

Tap 🧭 NORTH (visible during navigation) to manually toggle between heading-up and north-up.

If GPS is lost the map continues following your route using motion tracking. An amber banner appears: No GPS — following route on last known position. It dismisses automatically when GPS recovers.

iOS: Tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

Android: Tap browser menu → Add to Home Screen or Install App.

• Map stops auto-following after manual pan — tap ⊕ to re-enable.

• Double-tap ⊕ to zoom to street level.

• Zoom out during navigation to see your full route — tap ⊕ to resume following.

• Tap the bottom panel handle to collapse it and give the map more space.

• Share links work across devices — useful for sending your location to others.
